Job description

As a Audio HW Systems Engineer, you will lead audio hardware design for new product initiatives from concept through launch and drive audio technology initiatives. Working as part of a cross-functional hardware design team, you will deliver complete audio solutions, including feature scoping, writing specifications, in-depth design of loudspeaker and microphone systems, factory build support, test and validation, and final playback tuning. You will champion audio performance in our products and be recognized as a technical leader across all levels of Amazon management. Key job responsibilities: In this role, you will: - Define audio performance targets with product management and design subsystems to meet them for both playback and microphone systems - Simulate, prototype, and demonstrate audio product concepts - Lead audio hardware representation on cross-functional product teams - Serve as a technical representative for audio in leadership reviews and demos - Support factory builds, including test and failure analysis - Own audio hardware test and validation and drive debugging of issues - Tune playback systems to deliver exceptional audio experiences that delight customers - Inn...
