Job Summary: Job Description: Overview: The Inspector I inspects, investigates, and identifies violations of city codes for water infrastructure, pipes, and construction. Performs a wide range of general inspections ensuring proper water delivery, management, and drainage. Essential Functions: Conducts and performs a wide range of inspections and maintenance on various water and wastewater equipment to ensure safety; works closely with other laborers to identify challenging and complex issues and ensure appropriate resolution occurs. 2 Inputs inlets and performs general maintenance when requested; administers preventative maintenance ensuring safety and operation. 3 Assists in the set up of safe work zones; ensures all barricades and cones are appropriately placed, assists mechanics with various actions, inspections, cleanings, and maintenance. 4 Ins...
