Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: Qualifications Education—: Minimum: Currently enrolled in an accredited school/college of Pharmacy with a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent Credentials/Licensure—: Minimum: Licensed as a Pharmacy Intern by the Michigan Board of Pharmacy Related Experience—: Preferred: Must have completed at least 2 years of pharmacy school (i.e. be a P3 or P4 level Pharmacy student); have previous pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern experience Other Knowledge, Skills Abilities—: Required: Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written) Essential Functions: Add the following: - Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state, federal and company policy. - Interact with all levels of medical staff to discuss relevant patient information as warranted. - Participates in the process of dispensing medications to patients. - Reinforce patient self-management of medications through provision of education on proper medication administration, medication adherence, storage, and drug disposal. - Report issues and concerns to manager in a timely manner. - Maintain confidentiality o...
