Inside the Role As an Apprentice at Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing LLC, you will take part in a comprehensive training program that combines hands-on experience with formal education in either a mechanical or electrical pathway. Throughout the program, you will learn in our apprenticeship labs, receive on-the-job training from experienced technicians, and earn a company paid Associate’s degree. This program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to build a long-term career as a technician across multiple mechanical and electrical departments within Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing LLC facilities. Apprentices will begin in an electromechanical pathway, aligned with current business needs. As you grow your skills and explore your interests, additional opportunities may be provided to expand your experience and support continued development.
