Job description
The Role Work as part of the Teesdock E,C&I team to ensure all site machinery and equipment performs safely and efficiently through planned inspections, effective fault-finding, timely repairs, and proactive maintenance. The Key Responsibilities: Safety & Compliance: - Complete statutory inspections and reports in line with legislation and site requirements. - Comply with current Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, method statements, and site-specific rules. - Conduct and document electrical isolations per company procedures. - Maintain awareness of evolving health and safety standards. Maintenance & Operations: - Inspect, fault-find, maintain and repair ship, rail, wagon, loading and unloading machinery, conveyor systems, and switchgear. - Use tools such as root cause analysis (RCA) and mean time before failure (MTBF) to analyse problems and implement permanent solutions - Plan and execute work based on shift reports and inspections. - Utilise the Permit to Work system; issue permits as authorised. - Maintain accurate maintenance records and compile reports using SAP.
