ACCOUNTING ANALYST The Accounting Analyst provides financial and project accounting support for Federal Government and Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and corporate operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with project cost monitoring. With approximately 10 years of accounting experience, the analyst plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with government contracting regulations and applicable accounting standards. The position works extensively within Deltek Costpoint to manage project accounting, track labor and expense transactions, maintain project structures, and support billing and reporting activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Monitor project costs, budgets, and funding levels to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
