Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for installing equipment into Les Schwab (LS) Service Trucks. Refurbish and/or repair previously installed equipment as needed to existing LS Service Trucks through the use of troubleshooting and diagnostic equipment, under the direct supervision of more senior mechanics. Day Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 85% - Install fabricated and purchased equipment onto LS Service Trucks, with direct to moderate supervision. Including, but not limited to: Beds Air compressors: Tool boxes: Hose reels: Air tanks: Lighting: Cranes: 10% - Repair vehicle equipment for LS Stores by inspecting and testing vehicles: Repair mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions on installed vehicle equipment Replace parts and components as required 5% - Repair any mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or other equipment breakdown/failure Educational/Experience: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent A minimum of 1 year experience working with vehicles (mechanical, custom installations, remodels, light automotive repair) Automotive/mechanical trade or vocational certification preferred Required Technical Skills/Knowledge: St...
