Description Project Engineer I performs a variety of routine tasks, which provide experience and familiarity with engineering staff, methods, practices and programs. Project Engineer I works under close supervision but is expected to have some level of independence with required engineering tasks. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering required. Zero to two years of applicable experience required. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred. #LI-AT1 #LI-AP1 - Assist in development of plans, specifications and inspection reports. - Assist in preparation of material lists and labor contracts. - Assist with preparation of substation designs and construction drawings. - Basic administration of material purchases and construction contracts. - Support and contribute to a company-wide safety culture by following established safety standards, policies, and best practices, helping to ensure a safe environment for employees, clients, and the public. - Provide direction to designers, CAD operators on candidate’s assigned team. - Small degree of customer and vendor interaction. - Some proficiency in single area of substation engineering such as ph...
