Part time Academic Instructor (HNU 485) Department of Human Nutrition, Faculty of Science Position Description: The Department of Human Nutrition invites applications for a part-time Academic Instructor to teach HNU 485 ( Applied Nutrition Research ) (3 credits) during the winter term of the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is subject to final budgetary approval. This course will be taught in person and will provide an advanced understanding of approaches, theories and methods used in Human Nutrition research. We seek applicants with an advanced degree in Human Nutrition, or in a related field in science such as Health Sciences. Applicants should also demonstrate a record of effective teaching and possess strong communication skills. The successful applicant will be a Registered Dietitian registered with (or eligible for registration/licensure with) the Nova Scotia Regulator of Dietetics (NSRD) and show a commitment to supporting and advancing the university’s goals related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
