Warehouse Material Handler (Manufacturing)

Description Main Purpose: The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, storage and distribution of raw materials, components and finished products within the warehouse. This role ensures that production teams have the necessary materials to meet production schedules while maintaining inventory accuracy and following safety protocols. Essential Functions: - Receive, store and distribute materials, parts and products to designated areas - Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks or other material handling equipment - Ensure materials are delivered to production lines in a timely and accurate manner, including kits - Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts as needed - Collaborate with various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure material, parts and product needs - Organize and maintain storage areas to optimize space and accessibility - Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous materials and operating equipment - Assist in packaging, labeling and preparing shipments for delivery - Communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor - Keep work areas clean and free from safety...
