Performs complex (journey-level) managerial work administering of the State Operations Center Watch Section of TDEM. Work involves establishing goals and objectives; developing guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving established goals; coordinating and evaluating business function, division, or department activities; developing and evaluating budget requests. Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of others. Performs disaster response coordination work in the Watch during periods of increased readiness levels, weekends, and holidays, the position will be assigned 24/48 hr. Shifts.
