Description The Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of circadian biology, and cardiovascular physiology and pathology. The research associate should have skills in laboratory techniques relating to cell culture, molecular biology, mouse models, and rodent cardiac surgery. For the clinical portion of the work, strong experience in clinical translational research, advanced statistical analytics, omics analyses, wearable device application and data analysis, and statistical programming languages is required. Applicants must have an Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree.
