General Description: The Finance Power BI Manager will lead the build-out, governance, and strategic expansion of the firm’s Finance Power BI capability. This role owns Power BI end-to-end—platform strategy, standards, delivery, and adoption—while managing a team of Power BI analysts and partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors. The role is accountable for transitioning the organization from Excel- and table-based reporting to scalable, governed Power BI solutions that support leadership decision-making. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: Power BI Ownership & Strategy - Own the Power BI platform end-to-end, including architecture, data modeling approach, performance, security, and governance. - Define and enforce Power BI standards, best practices, and development patterns (modeling, DAX, visuals, documentation, deployment). - Serve as the firm’s Power BI subject-matter expert, capable of answering advanced technical and conceptual Power BI questions.
