Job description

Civil Designer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Coral Gables, FL): Assist with production of design plans and engineering specifications for water resources infrastructure projects. Support watermain design, storm water management, and water and wastewater treatment facility design projects. Perform design tasks including writing specifications and technical reports. Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and modeling. Coordinate with product vendors to ensure proper products are selected for civil infrastructure projects. Coordinate with CAD technicians and project managers to ensure submittals meet deadlines. Participate in construction inspections, site visits and in-person design meetings to ensure project is constructed per plans and specifications. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). #LI-DNI #GTM Bonus: Individuals in this position may be paid a discretionary bonus.
