Job Description Summary The Mechanical Sourcing Leader is a critical member of the Wind Sourcing Leadership Team. The role leads a global team responsible for mechanical components across a global supply chain and customer footprint. You will be responsible to partner with key stakeholders to build a differentiated strategy and drive execution through the value chain. Job Description: Owns a large global sourcing strategy including cross-functional alignment with product, engineering, and manufacturing Leads a significant global spend delivering on cost, quality, delivery, safety, and supplier performance metrics Drives Lean across the commodity value stream including building/executing lean roadmap, implementing standard work, and continuous improvement Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global sourcing team, ensuring alignment, accountability, and execution excellence Partners with Product Management on component product cost targets that deliver profitable products to the market.
