The Opportunity The Distribution Designer III is responsible for the creation of electric distribution designs. The Distribution Designer III coordinates with the clients, electric customers, and construction crews. Field work includes the collection of existing asset data before design creation and equipment location staking at the time of construction. The Distribution Designer III is capable of working independently and provides training and support for the Distribution Designer I & II roles. What You'll Do: - Create safe and efficient electric distribution designs using the Company standards - Communicates with engineers for design approval - Understands and follows the client’s standards and changes to their client’s needs - Proficient in a variety of desktop, mobile, and survey software used for the design process - Expert level of at least one design-related software - Experience with complex distribution design situations - Field data collection of existing assets when a more experienced perspective is needed - Staking of facilities utilized.
