Job description

Production Technician II POSITION OVERVIEW: Set up and run a saw, grind, roll threads, chamfer, machine, straighten, and polish using machinery or hand-held power tools on a variety of metal bar stock. Supply heat treat samples for approval to quality department. Inspect parts using various checking tools and instruments. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Ability to read blueprints - Verify quality of finished parts by performing inspections. In accordance with issued work instructions - Move controls to stop or start equipment - Remove completed material - Measure and mark material - Transfer materials or parts to specified work areas using material handling equipment - Deburr materials and parts using files or powered hand-tools - Maintain necessary record keeping related to quality inspections and task completion - Perform necessary preventative maintenance and occasional mechanical repair on equipment - Ability to ascertain when tooling is ready to be replaced - Maintain clean and organized work areas - Follow safety protocols - Perform other tasks as prescribed by team lead Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERRED Experience: Please note this job description is not designed to cove...
