Position Function: Plans and implements programs for Annual Giving, the Associate Director will assist the Director and Executive Director of Development in fulfilling the development-related mission of Mississippi State University. Salary Grade : 14: Please see Staff Compensation Structure for salary ranges. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Carry portfolio of leadership level annual fund prospects. Make discovery calls and personal visits. Bridge the gap between annual gifts ($150+) and major gifts ($25,000+). Work closely with prospect research in discovering new donors to target for annual giving level gifts. Provide contact reports related to these visits in a timely manner. The position will require travel 30% of the time as well as night and weekends when necessary for events and donor outreach. 2. Work with the director on developing, executing, and evaluating special targeted campaigns, such as parent campaigns, faculty/staff campaigns and reunion giving campaigns.
