The Division of Neuromuscular Medicine in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board certified neuromuscular neurologist and neuromuscular electrophysiologist to join the Department as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Clinician Educator Line . The major criterion for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Responsibilities for this position will include joining our current team of 17 neuromuscular neurologists in multidisciplinary and neuromuscular clinics, satellite clinics, electrophysiology laboratories and on the inpatient consult service. New faculty will also participate in medical student, neurology residency and neuromuscular fellowship teaching, and work with the existing neuromuscular clinical research infrastructure to launch clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies and collaborate with colleagues in autonomic neurology, pediatric neurology, neurogenetics, neuroimmunology, cardiology, pulmonology and related fields.
