Job DetailsLevel: ManagementJob Location: Fisk University - Nashville, TN 37208Position Type: StaffEducation Level: 4 Year DegreePOSITION SUMMARY Responsible for providing outstanding leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of a comprehensive safety and prevention program for students, faculty/staff and visitors at the University that support the University’s vision, mission and strategic goals. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Student Affairs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Management & Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise all safety employees including the officers, administrative assistant, and student employees. Ensure that the Office of Campus Safety contributes to a safe and secure learning environment through the development and enforcement of operational guidelines, policies, and procedures. Prepare and update operational manuals and documents as needed. Formulate and carry out programs and policies covered by the Clergy Campus Security Act.
