The Details: Join City of Moreton Bay as a Media Officer and help keep our growing community well informed with all the great things happening in our city! As one of our Media Officers, we will look to you to play a key role in developing and delivering proactive and reactive media content , creative media /public relations plans, and support in issues management. You will focus on maximising media opportunities through collaborating with media contacts and key internal and external stakeholders, whilst also proactively managing reputational risk through identifying emerging issues. You will also: - Full Time | 9 day fortnight - This is a Parental Leave relief role and it is anticipated appointment will be 12 months starting early August 2026. - $106,975 pa + 12% super (level 6) - 4.5% EBA increase will apply to this rate from 1 July 2026 - 72.5 hour fortnight - Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days. - Location: Strathpine - Prepare and issue media strategies, releases and statements. - Research and prepare responses to media enquiries within tight deadlines. - Manage and implement media events to attract coverage of public announcements. - Monito...
