Description As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the lifecycle management of joint and multinational doctrine translate complex warfighting experiences into standardized guidance that shapes how the United States and its allies operate. Job Roles & Responsibilities: - Functional Integration: Apply deep expertise in a specific functional area to development of joint publications. - Doctrine Lifecycle Management: Lead assessment, development, and revision of joint and multinational doctrine. - Organizational Liaison: Navigate and maintain critical relationships within the Joint Staff structure, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Military Services, and DoD Agencies. - Lessons Learned Research: Utilize Joint and Service Lessons Learned Systems to conduct rigorous research, identify operational trends and translate them into actionable doctrinal reports. - Task Alignment: Manage the Universal Joint Tasks (UJT) process, maintaining a synchronized and accurate relationship between joint tasks and official doctrine. - Strategic Communication: Draft, edit, and finalize formal military correspondence and publications, ensuring strict adherence to modern English grammar and professional standards. -...
