Position Description At a Glance: Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Wiremold Team in West Hartford, CT. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of production equipment, facility systems, and building structures. This role ensures optimal equipment performance and supports safe, efficient operations across the facility. What Will You Do?: - Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems. - Maintain and repair factory buildings, loading docks, offices, and outbuildings. - Repair and construct wood-based fixtures, equipment, and structures. - Build new equipment and tools, including preparing material lists and cost estimates. - Set up and operate machines and tools, including metal preparation processes such as hardening or tempering tool steels. - Perform basic welding tasks. - Complete Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) activities as assigned. - Maintain tools, materials, and workspaces in a clean and organized condition aligned with 5S/continuous improvement standards. - Record equipment performance data to support anal...
