Network Operations Engineer

Job description

As a Network Operations Engineer, you will provide Tier/Level 3 support for Emerson’s global IT network portfolio, ensuring the stability and performance of a large‑scale enterprise environment that spans over 400+ offices and multiple global data centers. You will work under the general guidance of Network Operations management, to maintain and improve Emerson’s worldwide connectivity and infrastructure. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Ensure reliable end-to-end network service delivery across WAN, LAN, Wireless, and Firewall environments within a global enterprise infrastructure - Configure, operate, and troubleshoot Cisco and Fortinet routing and switching platforms, as well as enterprise Next-Generation firewall solutions including Fortinet FortiGate and/or Palo Alto - Support and maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure, including VLAN segmentation, dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP and OSPF - Support and troubleshoot secure remote access solutions, including SSL/IPsec VPN technologies - Operate and support modern enterprise wireless networks, including Juniper Mist and/or Cisco managed wireless infrastructure, ensuring optimal user connect...
