Job description

Role Overview We are looking for someone to join our Vet team You'll have a large product development focus and as such the key to your success will be the relationship you have with both the Product Development Team (PDV) (for beef and dairy) and also the rearing unit team. You'll need good people & communication skills, attention to detail and an enthusiasm for the industry. You will provide administrative and practical support to the Vet Team and facilitate key relationships within the vet team, the wider Genus team and to other relevant stakeholders. You will work closely with the rearing unit team and provide administrative and practical support to that team. You will be expected to keep up to date with the legislation relevant to your role. You Will: Birth, Pedigree & Other Registrations: Work closely with the Health & Testing Co-ordinator on where animals are and what is needed before they enter a stud Tissue sampling calves & DNA admin Update relevant spreadsheets and systems with results.
