Job Description Under the direction of the Leased Housing Central Office Assistant Director, the Landlord Outreach Unit Housing Manager will perform work in a timely and responsible manner, with oversight of Leased Housing Department policies and procedures. The Housing Manager will be directly responsible for all aspects of the Landlord Outreach Unit’s goals and objectives. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Landlord Outreach Unit, supervise staff of 5; 2. Liaison with NYC’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on confirmed Elevated Blood Lead Level (EBLL) lead based paint cases. 3. Maintain Lead Paint log; suspend and reinstate subsidy for EBLL cases. 4. Oversee the processing of the HUD EIV deceased tenant moveouts, reports, approves recoupments of S8 overpayments to landlords. 5. Monitor eviction certifications (non-payments & holdover actions). 6.
