Job description
Recognized as the global leader in aircraft and component remanufacturing, Flexjet has redefined the business aviation industry by using reimagined engineering and production capabilities to transform used business aircraft into new modern airframes. This position is located in Cleveland, OH. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Create electronic documents using word processing and desktop publishing tools Research and collect data to write aircraft flight manual supplements, weight and balance supplement manuals, installation manuals, maintenance manuals, and/or service documents Communicate with the Design Engineers regarding product specifications/development Designs and coordinates material and structural repairs Research airframe technical characteristics to accurately document functions and features of specific aviation products Work in a team environment within the Technical Publications area to constantly improve the archival, storage and documentation process Edit copy for content organization, style, audience and format consistency Performs other duties as assigned: REQUIRED SKILLS: At least two (2) years of experience as a Technical Writer on programs and contracts of similar scop...
