Department: 36923 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Vascular Lab Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Mon-Fri 4 ten-hour day shifts w/ shared "on-call" responsibilities for overnight, weekends and holidays. Come join our Interventional Radiology team and care for all inpatients, outpatients, critical care and ER patients. Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Major Responsibilities: - Positioning and immobilization of patient to ensure anatomy or blood vessels being examined are in the correct profile and projection. Independent selection of technical factors to ensure high quality images with the lowest possible dose to the patient. - 1)Positions patient in proper positions to radiographically demonstrate correct anatomy - 2)Obtains radiographic DSA and DA images for interventional procedures and transmit all images to PACS for interpretation by the radiologist - 3)Sets up patient on appropriate cardiac and other monitoring systems. Ability to interpret normal ranges on monitoring equipment - 4)Participates in and assists in the performance of complex interventional endovascular neurological procedures.
