Job Description: The Pre-Sales Software Planner partners internally with Sales, Service and Project Management teams and engages with Varian's customers in a pre-sales capacity to establish customer requirements and expectations, ensure project and quote readiness, develop detailed project-specific deliverables detailing requirements, roles and responsibilities and implementation options and high-level timelines. The Role/Attributes: The Pre-Sales Solution Architect will independently partner with Sales, Service, and SW Upgrades teams to engage with customers in a pre-sales planning capacity in developing detailed SW Introductory Implementation Plan (IIP) proposals and establish the project and quote readiness.
