Summary: Oversee and assist operations of the lab to ensure the making of eyewear is accurate to prescription, ready as promised, and meets our “7 Point Quality Check” standards. Pay Class and Pay Pay Class: Full Time Pay: $11.86 - $16.01 per hour Essential Responsibilities: 1. Assist General Manager with ensuring all lab associates are trained on all lab equipment and Lab Certification Program. 2. Verify all lab equipment is appropriately calibrated and maintained, lens inventory procedures are followed, and lab expenses are kept at optimum levels. 3. Meet all job completion requirements according to quality standards emphasizing “as promised” service. 4. Assist the General Manager in controlling store level expenses to maximize store profit, i.e., lab supplies and training hours. 5. Maintain a proper level of lenses and lab supplies to ensure prompt customer service and assist the General Manager in controlling inventory shrinkage through the monitoring and recording of breakage, defects, exchanges, special orders and receipts. 6.
