KAW NATION POSITION DESCRIPTION: TITLE: HEALTH DIRECTOR: IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Public Health Administration, Hospital Administration, or Business Administration and 3-5 years direct supervisory experience in the field and in managing programs. Experience in budgetary development, monitoring personnel management, and grant/contract administration. Applicants may satisfy education requirements with an appropriate combination of training and experience in Health Program Management, budgetary development and monitoring, personnel management, and grant and contract administration. Applicant must have a demonstrated ability in researching, developing, and preparing grant proposals. Applicant must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver License. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ability to research, develop, and prepare grant proposals and required program reports. - Ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships with staff and community. - Administers all aspects of Self-Governance Compact between US Department of the Interior and the Kaw Nation to ensure compliance with requirements. - Promotes and coordinate...
