Position Title: Benefits Specialist - Workers' Compensation Division: Human Resources: Reports To: Coordinator, Risk Management & Workers' Compensation FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Salary Schedule: AS5: Workdays: 244: Essential Duties: 1. Perform duties specific to the assigned role as mutually defined by the employee and supervisor. 2. Receive and respond to inquiries and concerns from employees, hiring authorities, and District administrators until a resolution is determined. 3. Appropriately input and extract data from the integrated platform in order to effectively manage the assigned Risk Management and Workers' Compensation functions. 4. Monitor and make changes to all HR related platforms and website as needed. 5. Effectively manage all paperwork, databases, files, work products, etc. 6. Perform office duties by answering the telephone, assisting and directing callers, and greeting, announcing, or routing visitors, as needed. 7. Assist with special projects and events as requested. 8. Research, gather and organize pertinent data as needed for supervisor’s use. 9.
