Job description
As Legal Counsel you will be working as part of a broader legal team which provides legal support and assistance towards commercial decision making to ensure that the operations of the RAC Group are compliant with relevant legislation. This is a 12-month contract opportunity. What will you be doing?: Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a broad range of commercial contracts. Conducting legal research and providing clear, sound advice to stakeholders across the RAC Group, which may include the areas of financial services, privacy, data protection, member disputes, commercial property leasing, contract interpretation and/or other legislative requirements. Monitoring changes and developments in relevant legal and regulatory areas including guidance issued by ASIC, APRA, AFCA and OAIC. Advising and providing support to the RAC Group for ongoing growth and M&A activity. Preparing and updating customer-facing terms and conditions for a range of RAC products and services.
