What to Expect: As the United Ground Express Learning and Development team grows with the company’s operation there is a need for on-site training support for our Alaska Airlines operation at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD. This position will add additional training bandwidth outside of core classroom instruction, and the successful candidate will work in close collaboration with Training Management and the Station Leadership teams to assist and support training efforts. How you will make an impact: Responsible for delivery of on-site initial skills training, advanced skills training and recurrent training for all employees assigned to the Chicago O’Hare Alaska Airlines operation. Provides regional support to other Alaska Airlines contracts. - Responsible for ensuring training compliance and coordinating with operational leadership to ensure assigned staff have required training needed to properly support the operation. - Provides coaching and training to front line ramp agents assigned to support Alaska Airlines or other airlines contracts. - Conducts routine operational audits to validate employee compliance to standard operating procedures.
