Position Summary The primary function of an Accounts Payable position is to process, review, and maintain accurate accounts payable records while ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices in accordance with company policies. Duties & Responsibilities: - Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. - Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents. - Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with vendors regarding payment issues. - Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments. - Maintain accurate vendor files and records. - Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies. - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. - Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls. - Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounts payable. - Support audits by providing documentation and reports as needed.
