Position Overview: - Department: Cardiology Specialists of Birmingham - Schedule: Part-Time, M-F, 3-4 days/week, 7:30am-4:00pm ; required travel to CSB satellite locations - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. - Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. - Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. - Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. - Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
