Job description

Perform work within the University’s Human Capital Management system to administer employee personnel actions, maintain employee personnel records, compensation/classification data and administer the employment function from position request to onboarding in the human resources department. Support the hiring, onboarding, employment, and personnel record keeping process by assuring compliance with federal, state, local, university regulation/policy and collective bargaining agreements. Essential Functions: 50% Use the University's Human Capital Management system to utilize the online recruiting application, manage business processes including the administration of the hiring process, accurately enter and audit employee personnel actions, personnel and job data information, and meet payroll deadlines. Responsible for the management of the staff employment process from job requisition through onboarding. 25% Solve problems, respond to inquiries and information requests, and perform troubleshooting duties in relation to employee personnel actions, job requisitions, and the hiring process.
