This person will be responsible for the observation, inspection, and documentation of specific operations on construction job sites for transportation and utility infrastructure projects. Essential Job Functions: Observe and inspect various construction projects from beginning to completion. To include, but not limited to, thorough documentation of daily progress, computing and tracking materials and quantities, material sampling and testing, maintaining timely, accurate records of project progress and general oversight. Read and interpret plans, details, specifications, and other contract documents. Recognize and report any deviations from the contract documents. Conduct/Oversee laboratory and field testing and reports on soils, aggregates, asphalt, concrete, and other materials.
