Job description
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Location: Asheboro, NC office with expectation to regularly travel to the High Point, NC office. The HR Generalist plays a critical role in supporting core human resources functions with a strong emphasis on payroll processing, HRIS administration, compensation, and performance management. This position ensures data integrity, compliance, and the effective delivery of HR services that support organizational goals and employee experience. Essential Duties Day to Day: - Processes end-to-end payroll on a scheduled basis, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. - Maintains payroll records, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments and benefits. - Reconciles payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries. - Partners with Finance to ensure proper reporting and audits. - Ensures payroll taxes and vendor EDI files are transmitted successfully. - Reviews biweekly timecards for accuracy and completeness in preparation for payroll processing. - Maintains and optimizes the core HRIS and Time & Attendance platforms to ensure accurate employee data...
