Role of the Environmental Programs Manager Develops and implements programs to ensure the company complies with applicable environmental laws, regulations, permits, and policies. Essential Responsibilities: - Responds to environmental compliance issues in a timely manner through working collaboratively with operations and environmental staff. - Monitors Company activity to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, permits and policies. - Manages internal environmental reviews which may include inspections and/or sampling and analysis. - Evaluates results and makes recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with environmental requirements. - Supervises the administration of Company environmental information management systems. - Works with system administrators to monitor system usage and data, make recommendations for system updates based upon new and/or revised regulations, analyze reports, and ensure timely input of action items. - Develops and implements environmental policies and procedures that support the environmental management program and management by objectives (MBOs).
