Nights: CCMU: ECB (Nights): Work Schedule: 7p-7a; Variable, Including Rotating Weekends Job Summary: Provides cardiac monitoring to an assigned group of patients and compiles data with established guidelines. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. Work Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Pass Dysrhythmia Test with 80% score, initially and annually Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Provides cardiac monitoring to an assigned group of patients utilizing dysrhythmia recognition skills and knowledge. Sets/maintains computer alarms appropriate to each patient, according to diagnoses, age, dysrhythmia, medications, and procedures. Interprets rhythms accurately. Interacts with computer correctly.
