JOB OPENING: - Title: Cross-Cultural Adaptation Technician - Location: Wiesbaden, Germany - Start date: End April - Job-Type: Full Time SUMMARY: Provide orientation services to US servicemembers, civilians, and their families through the ACS Relocation Program to include Host Nation Orientation, Cultural Adaptation walking tours, translations, German and English as a Second Language classes for the USAG Wiesbaden Community. QUALIFICATIONS: - Fluent in English and German - Knowledge of German customs, culture, and language - Minimum of one year of recent work or volunteer experience in Family Service Programs or German tourism - Able to give orientation, information, and guidance about life in Germany to newcomers - Minimum of one year of experience in conducting briefings, training, preparing formal and informal correspondence, memoranda, reports, and data collection, and creating lesson plans for classes. - Familiar with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Internet, and e-mail - Able to work flexible hours (some language classes have evening hours) - Familiarity with US Army Regu...
