OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that supports Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology. Responsibilities and Duties: OCT currently has an opening for a Contract Database Support SME to support a client. This position is contingent upon contract award. The SME serves as the dedicated resource that ensures accuracy, usability, and security in the contract data environment. This person will be a SME in modern database and reporting tools, including Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint Online, and SQL-based systems. Day to day responsibilities include: ● Database Development and Maintenance: Design and update database structures, forms, queries, and dashboards to meet evolving acquisition and contracting requirements, leveraging modern tools such as SQL Server, SharePoint Online lists/libraries, and Power Platform. ● Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct functional and regression testing of database modifications to ensure accuracy, reliability, security, and compliance with agen...
