Overview POSITION TITLE (Oracle title): TEACHER TRAINER: WORKING TITLE: Teacher Trainer-Elementary Academics SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT: Academics-Elementary School Programs: LOCATION: Crossroads I, Cary, NC: PAY GRADE: Classroom Teacher (Not eligible for National Board Pay) FLSA STATUS: Exempt: ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT: Yes: WORK WEEK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends) Position is eligible for a hybrid telework workweek POSITION PURPOSE: Supports the development and deployment of core instructional support for students that aligns with the mission, vision and core beliefs of the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) Strategic Plan. Supports and facilitates instructional evidence-based practices through collaboration with school and district personnel, creating and developing professional learning/development targeted to improve instructional practices. Evaluates materials and resources that enhance the delivery of effective instruction. Supports implementation of core and targeted instructional assessment tools and assists in data collection and analysis in order to support actionable decisions to improve instructional support.
