Job DetailsJob Location: Greg St - Sparks, NV 89431Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: DayJob Summary: Responsible for preparing purchase orders for equipment and supplies by verifying specifications and price as well as verifying receipt of purchases and authorizing payment. Essential Duties: Coordinate with internal teams regarding their supply needs Process purchase orders, schedule and verify deliveries Support established logistical procedures to facilitate product arrival Maintain records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, etc. Act as a liaison between purchasing and the accounting department, passing along documentation on purchasing activities to ensure timely payment Develop and optimize profitable purchasing strategies Possess strong industry knowledge and research abilities Build and maintain positive, long-term supplier relations Research and compare suppliers, products, and services Communicate purchasing opportunities or potential market disruptions to leadership Maintain awareness of market trends, technology, and food safety Select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and c...
