Description Production Shift Supervisor Job Purpose: The production shift supervisor is responsible for managing shift employees within a specified manufacturing department. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Requirements: Production Shift Supervisor Job Duties: - Manage the activities of the production floor, under the direction of the business unit manager and follow established procedures and approved processes. - Supervise departmental production operations. - Strictly follow the process parameters specified by the process engineers. - Organize the team to meet production targets per production schedule. - Ensure the products meet quality standards. - Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental shift activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion. - Monitor the condition of production equipment, coordinate repairs with maintenance technicians. - Ensure the completion of the operators’ portion of equipment maintenance as specified by the maintenance department. - C...
