Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc. (SCI), a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative in Mt. Prospect, IL. The position is responsible for a broad range of Customer Service activities. Job Duties and Responsibilities - Communicates with Customers by talking with customers by phone or in person to ensure the best service possible; by answering custom er questions and investigating and correcting errors, involving customer and company records; by handling and resolving customer complaints, special orders, or returns via phone or mail; by answering customers' questions regarding product or service and operation or maintenance; and by providing information regarding pricing, changes in service, back orders when information is available, discontinuance, and shipping. - Processes Purchase Orders by receiving and processing orders; by investigating problems with orders; by processing corrections; and by creating and sending customer invoices. - Supports Sales by soliciting sales of new or additional services or products, as directed by Management; and by interviewing customers to obtain information and explain available services. - Coordinates Service...
