Electrical Apprentice I SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking an Electrical Apprentice I that will assist with utility-scale projects, ensuring safety and compliance with electrical regulations while training under a journey-level electrician. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining energy equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using various hand tools - Safely use hand and power tools after proper training (drills, crimpers, cutters, etc.) - Lift, position, and fasten objects - Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools for electrical trades - Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment - Work under immediate and close supervision according to standard instructions and procedures - Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels - Pull DC and MV wire and perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: *Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment. - High school diploma or GED - Some construction and/or electrical experience - Current driver’s license - Limited ability to read and interpret do...
