Physician Assistant – Inpatient Gynecologic Oncology

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. Education: Minimum – - First assist in the OR for gynecologic oncology cases. - Provide comprehensive care to gynecologic oncology patients with varying acuity and diagnoses. - Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments of oncology patients with acute health issues from cancer and cancer therapies (surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy) - Perform post-operative visits, develop, manage and modify treatment plans - Discuss role and side effects of chemotherapy with patients and their family, manage and modify chemotherapy treatment plans, and obtain chemotherapy signing privileges. - Evaluate patients receiving chemotherapy, manage chemotherapy side effects and prescribe chemotherapy. - Perform in office biopsies and procedures. Provide post-op wound care. - Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide consistent high-quality care to our patients in active treatment or active surveillance setting. - Be a liaison and...
