Associate Data Center, Facilities Technician

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Experience in Mechanical/Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC), or electrical. - Ability to work non-standard hours. - Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs of equipment, the required use of OSHA standard safety equipment such as limited weight bearing work platforms, ladders, step stools and personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety harnesses. Preferred qualifications: - Associate's degree, trade school certification, or related training program certification in a relevant technical field (eg. CMCO, SMT, etc.). - Experience as an apprenticeship or in a technician level in a critical environment. - Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal working hours or when on-call. - Ability to perform repetitive technical and manual work.
